Perform inspections, maintenance, and minor and major repairs on automotive and related equipment.

Note: Applicants must meet the following requirement(s) to be considered minimally qualified for the job.
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certificate; and
Two years of experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment such as automobiles, trucks, or lawn equipment.
Sheriff’s Office May Require
Possession of a higher classification of Driver License to include Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Two years of experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment such as automobiles and light duty trucks.
One recognized Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certificate or one Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certificate or capable of obtaining one of these certifications within the probationary period.
